(More customer reviews)This part is what you need to replace when steering on your riding lawnmower gets sloppy. Replace it early before the gears start skipping teeth or you will need to replace the steering shaft gear also.
This part is prone to "oval out" where the end of the steering shaft goes through and allow the steering shaft gear to come out of good mesh with the sector gear which causes failure of all three parts if allowed to go too far..
