This tool is lightweight. It is acceptable for someone of small stature.I was disappointed in the weight, balance and heft. The stamped steel was slightly thicker than that of a mass-produced machete.I spend a long time filing down the tool marks and dressing the edge on the entire blade. It was not a true, heavy 16" blade.

The big guy and the serious hewer of wood should look to KAISER."Some folks call it a Kaiser blade.I call it a SLING BLADE.It's got a long hook on the end like a bannanner... Hmmmmm..."

The Kaiser ditch bank blade is a true 16" long and the handle is 40 inches long instead of 36" on the Bully. The Kaiser weighs 6 pounds/ Bully 5 pounds.Dad had a Kaiser blade. When I was a teenager I had to clear brush in a 2 acre swamp with it.The steel was much better and held an edge longer.
