(More customer reviews)Bought both front and rear variable drive belts for a 1996 PowerKraft 18 HP Industrial/Commercial Mower bought new from Montgomery Wards I believe.While the belts are not exact match for the original MTD Belts (width and lengths are a little different)they seem to operate in the intended fashion.Only time you may notice any slipping is when going up steep embankments or hilly terrain.The orginal OEM MTD Belts probably would outperform these in those situations but overall I would say that they meet my expectations for 90% or what my needs are.I cannot speak to how they are wearing because I haven't used it enough.I would expect them to wear faster than and OEM belt but I am ok with that given the price.

754-0280 is a primary variable drive belt, engine pulley to vari-drive pulley. Part numbers 754-0280, 954-0280, 754-0280A, 954-0280A are the same part. Part 754-0370 is the secondary variable drive belt, vari-drive pulley to transmission pulley. Part 754-0370 is the same as 954-0370. Because of the difficulty and time involved changing just one belt we recommend changing both while you have every thing apart. Only takes another 15-20 minutes on most models. Please check you parts list to make sure that both these parts are right for your model.
